Green Energy Innovations (GEI) invites you to apply for the Energy Sales Consultant position.

About the position:

The Energy Sales Consultant will work closely with the Director of Energy Sales to identify energy-efficiency opportunities and recommend company solutions to public school districts, public agencies, commercial property owners, and more. This is a client-facing role. The applicant must be willing to drive around southern and northern California. The Energy Sales Consultant will be responsible for having a solid understanding of state-wide energy grants/subsidies, then communicate these points to the decision-makers in public agencies.

Green Energy Innovations is located in Buena Park, California. We have been in the LED lighting industry for over 20 years. Our company also specializes in solar panels, EV charging stations, and battery storage systems.

Example of Duties:

• Drive across Southern and Northern California to visit public school districts, community colleges, and public agencies
• Identify energy efficiency problems and recommend solutions to clients
• Interact and speak with clients on a daily basis
• Be updated with state and local energy incentives, subsidies, and grants

_ Knowledge of:_

• Government energy programs, grants, subsidies, and rebates.
  • Examples include ECAA from CEC, OBF from PG&E and Edison, and Title 24
• Baseline understanding of LED fixtures and types, solar panels, EV charging, and battery storage systems
• Basic sales and negotiation skills

_ Ability to:_

• Speak and communicate in a clear, confident, and persuasive manner
• Be flexible in new environments and adapt to situations/clients
• Eager to learn and be easily teachable
• Definite problems and recommend solutions to an audience
• Drive an automobile with California license

**Education/Experience: **

Green Energy Innovations prefers a candidate with a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. As long as the candidate is eager to learn, teachable, and flexible, sales or energy industry experience is not required.
