JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a friendly and hard-working Cashier to join our team! As a Cashier, you will ring up sales, take payments, and issue receipts. You will provide excellent customer service by ensuring all transactions run smoothly in addition to managing and helping facilitate online order pick ups for both customers + delivery drivers. Light stocking + cleaning duties may also apply.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Meet guests with a warm smile and friendly greeting upon arrival.
Strong effective communication skills to check out guests efficiently.
Ability to problem-solve or multitask with our POS and other operational needs while providing fast and friendly customer service.
Enter all sales transactions into POS accurately and promptly.
Maintain clean workstations throughout the entire shift.
Ensure online orders behind the service counter are matched with the correct customer or delivery driver upon pick up.
Light stocking of beverages, paper products and other misc. retail extensions before and after service as needed.
Help to maintain clean workstations throughout service with frequent screen + counter wipe downs.
Light cleaning duties may apply before and after service.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively
Understanding of sales techniques and best practices in customer service
Willingness to work well in a team environment
Ability to quickly and accurately work a POS
Willingness to work a flexible schedule
Knowledge of Square POS is a benefit
