Job Description:
We are currently seeking a talented and energetic DJ/MC to join our team. As a DJ you will be responsible for curating and delivering exceptional music sets, creating a lively atmosphere, and ensuring a memorable entertainment experience for our clients and their guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for music, excellent public speaking skills, and the ability to engage diverse audiences.
Responsibilities:
Curate and mix music sets tailored to the preferences of clients and their guests.
Emcee events, including making announcements and facilitating transitions between different parts of the event.
Interact with clients to understand their musical preferences and event requirements.
Set up and operate DJ equipment, including sound systems, microphones, and lighting.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Ensure the smooth flow of events and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise.
Stay updated on music trends and popular tracks to keep performances fresh and engaging.
Provide outstanding customer service and exceed client expectations.
Requirements:
Experience in the entertainment, wedding and/or music industry.
Extensive knowledge of various music genres and the ability to create diverse playlists.
Excellent public speaking and communication skills.
Proficiency in operating DJ equipment and software.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Reliable transportation to travel to event venues, this includes the ability to bring equipment with you.
