QUALITY AND COMPLIANCE COORDINATOR (QCC)
QC/GMP
The Quality Coordinator will develop a standardized QC/GMP program for all plants including Metrics, SSOPs, GMPs, HACCP, and Testing. Responsible to incorporate these standards and testing results into the new ERP system.
OSHA
Coordinate and manage the effort to improve Employee safety in all three plants. The Quality Coordinator will work with US Compliance and each plant manager to assist in ongoing training and maintenance of the program. The Quality Coordinator will manage the employee safety program without the need for outside consultants.
CIP
Improve, and develop functional detailed operation manuals for all the types of CIP equipment throughout all facilities. The Quality Coordinator will be responsible for the development and ongoing improvement to the following documents:
COMPLIANCE
Environmental compliance, PH neutralization Systems, Hazardous material permits, Fire inspections, etc. – assure all documentation, permits and equipment pertaining to compliance is up to City requirements at each location.
LABEL MANAGEMENT/DEVELOPMENT
Manage the label program (including cartons) at all plants and product lines. Assure labels are accurate and meet FDA requirements. This includes development of new labels and designs as well as managing and organizing older revisions.
FORMULATION
Will develop manage and coordinate all formulations for all plants and product lines. This includes developing new formulas for new products or formula changes to existing products. Will assure the changes to formulation are properly communicated to each plant and updated in the ERP system.
DIRECT REPORTS
The QC managers at each plant will report directly with the plant managers with a dotted line to the Quality Coordinator. The Quality Coordinator will act as a resource to assist the plant manager in guiding the QC managers in Regulatory Compliance, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Document Control, and Software Quality Systems. Plant managers will be responsible for Quality Manager’s performance reviews, coaching forms, and vacation approvals.
