Griffith Rubber Mills, a leader in manufacturing for over 100 years, has immediate full-time openings for PRODUCTION OPERATORS in our Portland, OR rubber extrusion plant. The wage starts at $17.00 and is further determined by position and shift along with bonus opportunities.

MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE:

• EXTRUSION OPERATOR – Learn the skills required to operate an extruder in order to process raw rubber into a finished product.
• SPLICING OPERATOR– Operate a press in order to bond cut parts into a complete gasket.
• INSPECTION OPERATOR– Inspecting and final Quality check of finished parts before delivery to the customer.
• CUTTING AND GENERAL LABOR– Uses an air actuated cutter as well as other equipment to cut parts to customer specification as well as perform other duties as assigned.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Willing to learn and develop skills
• Able to follow directions both written and verbal
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. throughout shift
