The Grill Cook position will consist of sauté, prep, fry station, pizza station, grill station, cold station, and wherever else needed. The job is not limited to and consists of the following duties:
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle food safely
Maintain product presentations, product quality and cook time standards
Maintain kitchen work area, equipment, plateware and utensils in a clean, sanitary, and orderly condition
Assist other cooks, prep, and dish as necessary
Thorough knowledge of menu item builds
Prepare foods to be cooked in accordance with recipes and allergies and dietary restrictions of guests
Sweep and mop kitchen nightly
Wipe and sanitize counters, cooking surfaces and equipment nightly
Clean refrigerators and remove outdated or otherwise unsafe, unsanitary or risky food, beverages or ingredients
Remove trash from kitchen and put in dumpster daily
Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
Follow recipes and presentation specifications
Operate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficiently
Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
Restock items as needed throughout the shift
Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
Other duties as assigned
