Grinding Division Sales Person
The grinding and grooving salesperson will locate project leads, build new relationships and maintain current relationships with customers. They will send out bids, sell and negotiate project pricing as needed. They will work alongside the division manager and the operations manager to track, manage and oversee projects to completion . Travel for this position is required. Salary will be negotiated.
Responsibilities:
- Track job leads based on state lettings and requests for pricing
- Provide detail cost estimate for customers
- Create and maintain relationships with contractors and vendors
- Responsible for billings, estimating and keeping the job on task until project is closed
- Travel to other states to sell our services to current and new contractors and vendors
Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and spoken
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite, basic computer commands and operations
- Highly proactive and versatile, working well with limited supervision and instruction
- Ability to learn new tasks and process information quickly
- Ability to manage and meet multiple deadlines and complete complex tasks
- Ability to communicate and build rapport, bright and energetic
- Excellent judgement, common sense, creativity, problem solving abilities and critical thinking skills
- Have a good knowledge of equipment and tools we use
- Must pass Drug Screen (Required)
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma
- CDL (required)
- Knowledge of concrete cutting industry preferred, but not a requisite to apply
