The individual is responsible for designing, implementing and enforcing policies and procedures, as well as streamlining effective billing processes across multiple markets. This position is highly visible and requires a strong leader with the ability to prioritize, plan, and direct the department.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Handle the recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training of the regional billing department.
- Manage, measure, control, and work to drive the day-to-day operations.
- Partner with the North America Billing Manager to coordinate cross-functional activities and drive process efficiencies.
- Ensures a safe, secure, and positive work environment.
- Develop personal/team growth opportunities.
- Provide clear and consistent communication of all job expectations to staff: planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Proactively identifies impediments and quickly resolves issues.
- Manage all time off and support with coverage.
- Ensure that all deadlines are met accurately and timely.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Required Skills
- Billing experience and 1-3 years of oversight experience minimum.
- Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills, with professional presentation.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, primarily using Excel, Outlook, Teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks based on level of importance.
- Ability to provide support, direction, mentoring, and professional development.
- Must be data and evidence driven.
- Self-motivated with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Ability to work with all Executives, Branch Managers, BAMS, Regional Billing Supervisors, Billers, etc.
- Reliable with a positive professional attitude and strong work ethic.
- Must take all required management training courses.
