This is an on-site, salaried, full-time position.
Hours would be (mid-shift) MONDAY – FRIDAY 10:00AM – 7:00PM, OR 11:00AM – 8:00PM.
SUMMARY:
The HR Coordinator will perform duties at the professional level in all of the following functional areas: payroll, benefits administration and management, on-boarding, and employee relations. This position requires an extremely perceptive person who is capable of multi-tasking and relating to individuals at all levels within the organization.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Maintain all employee and applicant documentation and employee records.
· Ensure compliance with I-9 employment eligibility verification and periodically audits Forms I-9.
· Maintain employee personnel files and proper record keeping.
· Assist with policy development and documentation.
· Maintain current health benefits program.
· Monitor employee eligibility for benefits plans.
· Review benefits with employees and processes and assist with enrollments.
· Organize and assist with annual open enrollment communications and election process.
· Report, maintain, and monitor time and attendance for employees.
· Monitor, adjust and submit weekly payroll for all employees.
· Process payroll reports for agencies.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
· BACHELOR’S DEGREE OR HR CERTIFICATION (PHR, SPHR), PREFERRED.
· 2+ years’ HR experience; HRIS experience.
· Automotive manufacturing experience or related field.
· Basic knowledge of all HR disciplines including performance management, recruitment, employee relations, learning and development, talent management, compensation, Health and Safety, etc.
· Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.
· Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
· Able to work efficiently as a part of a team, as well as independently.
· Computer literacy, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and e-mail.
· Strong administrative skills and high attention to detail.
· Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
· Excellent time and project management skills.
· Willing to travel as needed and other duties may be assigned.
· Maintain a valid drivers license.
