Job Summary

We are seeking a Groundskeeper to join our team. In this role, you will trim trees and hedges, mow and manicure laws, maintain gardens, and keep pathways clean. This position also includes general maintenance of the interior and exterior of the building. Tasks include cleaning and preparing the building for membership daily use. Ultimately, your goal is to keep the clubhouse and landscaping beautiful and inviting. The ideal candidate is a hard worker with a strong understanding of landscaping and general maintenance.

The job schedule does include weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities:

Maintain garden areas, including pruning, weeding, and mulching

Trim hedges, bushes, and trees

Maintain clean pathways

Ensure outdoor areas are protected from inclement weather

Operate push mower and other landscaping equipment

General day-to-day cleaning of the clubhouse

Cleaning windows

Power washing

Restaurant and restroom cleaning

Painting

Dock cleaning

Other duties assigned

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Groundskeeper, Landscaper, or other position is preferred

High school diploma/GED is preferred

Familiarity with landscaping equipment and machinery

Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects, digging, and standing for long periods

Ability to adhere to all safety rules and regulations
