    About Adolescent Wellness Academy

Adolescent Wellness Academy is a Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) program dedicated to supporting adolescents ages 13-17 who are struggling with mental wellness. Our program provides a structured and compassionate environment for teens facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, substance use, and emotional dysregulation. We integrate clinical care with creative and holistic approaches to healing, ensuring that adolescents receive the comprehensive support they need.

We are seeking a Creative Arts Group Facilitator to lead engaging, expressive arts sessions in writing, music, painting, or other creative modalities that help adolescents explore emotions, develop self-awareness, and build resilience.

    Why Join Us?

    • Inspire Through Creativity – Help adolescents express emotions, reduce stress, and develop confidence through creative arts.
    • Work with Motivated Participants – Our teens voluntarily engage in treatment, making for meaningful and impactful sessions.
    • Be Part of a Holistic Healing Approach – Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team integrating the arts with traditional therapy.
    • Flexible Commitment – Facilitate just one evening session per week , making it an excellent opportunity to share your passion while maintaining other commitments.
    • Supportive & Growing Team – Join a high-performing, innovative clinic that values creativity and new approaches to adolescent mental wellness.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead trauma-informed creative arts groups (writing, music, painting, or other expressive modalities) in a therapeutic setting.
    • Adapt sessions to accommodate different skill levels, emotions, and clinical needs.
    • Foster a safe, inclusive space where teens feel comfortable exploring creativity and self-expression.
    • Encourage self-reflection and emotional processing through guided creative activities.
    • Work collaboratively with the clinical team to align creative sessions with therapeutic goals.

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • Experience working with adolescents in a mental health, educational, or therapeutic setting.
    • Background in creative arts (writing, music, painting, or another expressive modality).
    • At least 1 year of experience leading therapeutic or creative groups in a clinical or educational environment.
    • Must pass a Level 2 Background Check & Drug Test.
