Position Summary: The Group Studio Class Instructor at Arco Fit Gym and Wellness delivers exceptional group fitness instruction through a variety of dynamic, motivating, educational, and enjoyable classes. These classes are designed not just to enhance physical health but also to promote a positive mindset and holistic wellness in a welcoming, safe environment. As a fitness mentor, you build strong, supportive relationships with members, nurturing a community that motivates and encourages ongoing participation. Job Description:

• Infuses each class with energy and passion and has a genuine desire to guide participants, helping them leave feeling uplifted and accomplished both physically and mentally.
• Builds meaningful connection s with class participants, recognizing the unique value each member brings.
• Guides and educates participants on proper form and offers progressions or regressions, providing alternative movements to accommodate different fitness levels.
• Engages actively with members being present and approachable; listening to their needs, answering questions, and having meaningful conversations before and after classes.
• Takes pride in the studio space ensuring it is clean and organized after each session to maintain a welcoming and professional environment.
• Curates motivating musi c that energizes classes while ensuring the content is appropriate.
• Communicates with Group Fitness Manager on member feedback, equipment and operational status, scheduling and subbing
• Promotes facility acting as an ambassador for Arco Fit Gym & Wellness by promoting our programs, classes, and services to members and potential members.
• Responsible for maintaining all spaces and striving to keep them looking new.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience as a fitness instructor
• Current CPR/AED Certification
• At least one of the following Group Exercise Certifications: and (NASM),(ACE),(AFAA)
• Competence in performing exercises specific to the type of class being taught
• Must be friendly, vibrant and outgoing
• Eager to learn and continue professional development
