    Job Summary

    Row House is a boutique rowing concept which strives to give people of all different fitness levels an efficient, high-cardio, full-body workout in less than one hour. Rowing has long been recognized by serious athletes as one of the most effective forms of full-body exercise and Row House's workout stays true to form. We strive to create a fitness experience accessible to anyone, bringing our classes together, rowing on the same rhythm, with the same flow and energy. Targeting the upper body, lower body, and core all at once, the brand's fitness program offers an energetic, endorphin-boosting workout in a safe, inspiring, and inclusive environment.

    This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to join our team and help us share the Row House brand and experience, build a wellness-minded community, and have fun while doing it. Our ideal candidate is a positive, engaging, and enthusiastic individual with a passion for fitness.

    No indoor rowing experience necessary - training is provided

    Upon completion of training, coaches will receive a Concept 2 Recognized rowing certification as well as CEUs for AFAA/NASM, ACE and ISSA.

    Responsibilities

    The coach will curate the Row House experience through pre-designed workouts to groups of up to 25 participants

    Motivate and encourage clients throughout workouts

    Build Row House class attendance and member retention through positive connection and engagement

    Ensure safety of clients while engaged in rowing and associated fitness activities

    Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations

    Handle member concerns when applicable

    Maintain strong social media presence to promote brand awareness and class attendance

    Qualifications

    High school diploma/GED required

    Group fitness certification highly desired but not required

    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

    Must have musicality, we row to the beat of the music

    Ability to create a high energy, positive environment which welcomes all people

    Possess fantastic communication skills

    Ability to achieve interpersonal connection with a passion for helping others achieve goals

    Desire to set positive daily intentions which encourage member excitement and participation

    Must exude charisma & thrive in a group environment

    CPR-certified or the ability to achieve and maintain it
