    Europa Village Wineries and Resort is a destination location in Temecula Valley Wine Country. We are a hospitality company rooted in family, and we welcome members and guests to enjoy a stay or a day in our European themed villages. We represent the countries of Italy, Spain and France and have multiple tasting rooms, restaurants, event spaces, overnight accommodations, and retail venues on our Forty-five-acre property. We employ enthusiastic associates who enjoy providing excellent customer service and thrive on creating memorable experiences for our members and guests.

    Group Sales Manager reports to: Director of Catering

    A Group Sales Manager is responsible for generating and managing Group Sales by actively seeking new clients, building relationships, negotiating contracts, coordinating event details, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the entire event planning process and beyond.

    Relevant Experience Required: The ideal candidate will have a passion for service with an out-going, self-motivated and energetic personality. Strong customer service skills and sales experience is a must. A background in food service or culinary arts is beneficial.

    Responsibilities Specific to Group Sales Manager

    Possess and live Europa Village core values.

    Contacts organizations and businesses that might require overnight accommodations and space for conferences and events.

    Maintains positive relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.

    Handles aspects of event management, including venue selection, audio visual arrangements, and food and beverage, in conjunction with activities, transportation and other operational logistics.

    Assists in planning, coordinating, and executing meetings and conferences for business and social groups.

    Works with Director of Catering to update action plans and financial objectives.

    Assists in analyzing current client base and identifies new markets and business opportunities to increase sales.

    Provides exemplary customer service to all guests.

    Reviews and monitors daily activity reports and adjusts where need be to ensure the budget is adhered to.

    Addresses and resolves any issues or complaints.

    Accurately and efficiently operates events software and Point of Sale systems.

    Other duties as assigned.

    Be comfortable working on feet for long periods of time.

    Be comfortable working at a computer for long periods of time.

    Be able to communicate Europa Village’s story.

    Arrive at work prepared with excellent personal presentation standards, dressed professionally and wearing appropriate shoes.

    Arrive on time and be respectful of attendance and punctuality.

    Adhere to Europa Village policies and procedures.

    Must be available to work holidays and weekends.
