Responsibilities include responding to guest inquiries, contacting potential new guests based on networking and referral leads, and assisting the sales team with administrative tasks. Responsibilities: • Establish and maintain communication with customers via phone and email to answer their inquiries and requests • Maximize profits by selling more and providing upgrades to guests to ensure they are completely satisfied • Create a list of business and referral leads through research and networking and make preliminary pitches • Present prospective clients with sales presentations and other materials that promote event space, dining options, and facility features • Plan and organize work schedules, file important documents, and communicate with stakeholders and hotel departments about sales-related information Guest Services & Front Desk Operations: • Greet guests warmly and efficiently check them in and out of the hotel. • Answer guest inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive guest experience during their stay. • Handle reservations, room assignments, and billing in a timely and professional manner. • Ensure all guest requests and complaints are promptly addressed, escalating issues as needed. • Maintain accurate guest records and data entry in the hotel management system. • Make and serve hand-crafted cocktails to hotel guests and external customers • Make and serve bar food menu • Prep food for breakfast, evening menu, and bar • Maintain a high level of cleanliness in the lodge, bathrooms, bar and kitchen Sales & Group Coordination: • Manage and process group bookings, ensuring proper accommodations are arranged for events, meetings, or special group needs. • Assist in the creation and execution of groups, weddings, and events • Coordinate with all departments to ensure smooth operations for group bookings and events. • Work events as the event coordinator. • Provide detailed information and quotes to potential clients regarding group rates, meeting spaces, and additional services. • Develop relationships with local businesses and organizations to drive group sales opportunities. • Follow up with group clients post-event to gather feedback and foster future business. Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED, and bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred • Must have previous sales experience working in the hospitality industry • Understands how to communicate, negotiate, and network effectively • Stays organized and manage time well • Displays a proven track record of sales success • Previous experience in a hotel front desk or customer service role is required. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in group coordination or event management. • Knowledge of local attractions and venues to assist in group planning. Compensation: $20 - $22 per hour plus commission
