Job Title: Guest Services Representative
Company: The Goodstone Inn & Restaurant
Reports To: Guest Services Manager Schedule: Mornings, Mid-day, Evenings (5 days a week) including Weekends

As the first point of contact, you will be part of a high-energy and enthusiastic team, providing our guests with exceptional service to exceed expectations. From assisting with reservations in a friendly, proactive, and efficient manner, greeting them upon arrival, to assisting their check-in process to their departure, you will anticipate and address guests' service needs.
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide the highest quality of service to the guests at all times, anticipate guest needs, and exceed their expectations.
Personal accountability for achieving established guest service standards
Handle guest reservations; always answer the telephone within two rings with a smile and answer questions accordingly or transfer as needed.
Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and effectively explain common reports, guest folios, and emergency procedures.
Effectively operate the inn’s computer systems (Maestro and Aloha).
Possess working knowledge of all reservation procedures.
Follow correct check-in/check-out Goodstone procedures.
Communicate with team and management professionally and positively.
Ensure security and confidentiality of all guest and hotel information and material.
Attend work on time as scheduled and adhere to the attendance policy.
Assist Concierge Services as needed, arranging and coordinating guest experiences on-site.
Qualifications and Skills
A minimum of 1+ years of hospitality experience and customer service
Strong computer skills, including typing and using basic programs such as Microsoft Office, etc
Good communication skills
Self-motivated
Flexible and proactive and take the initiative as appropriate
Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process
Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written
Must be able to work well with coworkers
Must be able to multi-task, prioritize and work in an effective and efficient manner
Must be able to work with a sense of urgency while remaining calm, pleasant, and detailed oriented
Must be at least 18 years old
Excellent attention to detail is a must
