JOB SUMMARY:
Our Gun Accessory distribution company is searching for an Outside Sales Representative to develop and manage relationships with assigned customers and prospects to establish new customers. They will be responsible for growing their customer base and meeting sales goals. The successful candidate for this position has experience in sales, customer service, relationship management, and the shooting sports industry.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Travel to customer locations in the Arizona assigned territory.
Service existing accounts, obtain orders and establish new accounts by planning and organizing a daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets.
Adjust the content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet, and potential volume of dealers
Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
Recommends product, service, and policy changes by evaluating results and competitive developments.
Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
The qualified candidate will have 1-2 years of sales experience selling to businesses. Industry or product knowledge is a plus.

COMMUNICATION: Strong in-person and phone skills to develop relationships, understand needs, and generate sales. Able to communicate effectively and present to varying audiences. Strong communication skills are a necessity for a successful result.
CUSTOMER FOCUS: Excellent customer service skills and the ability to put the customer first are essential. Problem-solving and negotiation are skills that are needed in this position.
GOAL-ORIENTED: Motivation to succeed and achieve assigned sales and activity goals. History of achieving sales quotas. Positive attitude.
TERRITORY MANAGEMENT: Evaluate existing customers' needs and contact levels and identify new opportunities to succeed.
COMPUTERS SKILLS: Understanding of Word, Excel, and databases are essential in accessing and compiling data needed to perform this job.
