Job Summary: The Gym Director oversees the daily operations of the My Gym location, ensuring exceptional service for children and their families. This leadership role requires a blend of business management, team leadership, and customer service skills. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with a passion for childhood development and a strong desire to cultivate a vibrant community of families.
Responsibilities:
Work Schedule: Committed to 40 hours per week, including weekends as needed
Operational Oversight: Manage the center's daily operations, including class schedules, staff supervision, and facility maintenance.
Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with families to ensure their satisfaction and engagement. Maintain strong staff relations to build the Gym enrollment.
Strategic Development: Create and implement strategies to boost enrollment and retain currently enrolled families
Safety and Cleanliness: Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for children, families, and staff
Qualifications:
Childcare Experience: Proven experience working with young children in an organized play environment
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership or management experience, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
Team-Oriented: Strong willingness to collaborate as a team player and contribute to a positive work environment
Effective Communication: Excellent communication skills to engage clearly with staff and guests
Physical Requirements: Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
Endurance: Capacity to stand and move for extended periods (up to 6 hours) while fulfilling job responsibilities
