Position Summary:
The Gym Director is a full-time career-level position, responsible for the overall performance of The Little Gym location. Reporting directly to the owners, the Director will join the team prior to the gym's opening (April or May 2025) and will play an integral role in all pre-opening activities. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, learning systems and processes, understanding the brand and program offerings, supporting sales and lead generation efforts, hiring and training staff, and assisting with marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Teach GREAT classes based on our proven curriculum and teaching method
Lead a team in providing outstanding customer service and membership experience second to none
Manage day-to-day operations
Hire, manage, and oversee the training of staff
Maintain facility and equipment
Sell The Little Gym program to new customers
Produce engaging social media content to promote the gym and its programs
Help support grassroots and local community engagement events
Serve at the culture champion, fostering a positive, inclusive and energetic environments that aligns with The Little Gym's values
Work closely with the owners to ensure alignment with business goals and operations, driving the overall success of the gym
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of relevant management experience in a child-focused industry
A background in child development, physical education, and/or gymnastics is a plus
Customer service experience
Management experience
Excellent time management skills
Great attitude and strong work ethic
Love to have fun and not only smiles easily but finds joy in making others smile
Loves children and they love you
Passionate about building something from the ground up and contributing to the business' long-term growth and success
Compensation:
Competitive salary, commensurate with experience
