SUMMARY
Sweet Peas is a progressive gymnastics program designed to help children (6 months - 6 years old) develop physical, social, and emotional skills in a nurturing and fun environment. Our mission is to create a safe space where children grow their confidence, coordination, and a love for movement. We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Gymnastic Programs Coordinator with a background in gymnastics, dance, acrobatics, or cheerleading to join our team and ensure the success of our Sweet Peas program.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Program Coordination: Oversee the daily operations of the Sweet Peas gymnastics program, ensuring classes run smoothly and meet our high-quality standards.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise instructors to deliver engaging and age-appropriate classes that incorporate elements of gymnastics, dance, acrobatics, and cheerleading. Provide ongoing feedback and support to ensure instructional excellence.
- Curriculum Implementation: Ensure adherence to the Sweet Peas curriculum and make adjustments as needed to meet the unique needs of participants, drawing on a variety of movement disciplines.
- Scheduling: Develop and manage class schedules, instructor assignments, and facility usage to optimize resources and accommodate customer demand.
- Customer Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for parents and guardians, addressing questions, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Safety Oversight: Enforce safety protocols and ensure that all equipment and facilities are well-maintained and meet safety standards.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of enrollment, attendance, and program evaluations. Assist with marketing efforts to promote the program and increase enrollment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in gymnastics instruction or program coordination, with additional experience in dance, acrobatics, or cheerleading highly valued.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Passion for working with children and fostering their development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of safety standards and practices in gymnastics and related disciplines.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
