Museum Sales Associate PT H.M. Flagler & Co.
The Flagler Museum is seeking part-time sales associates to join our team at HM Flagler & Company Museum Store at the Flagler Museum. The ideal candidates will have a passion for engaging customers and providing product knowledge and inspiration when selling merchandise related to Whitehall and the Gilded Age.
HM Flagler & Company Store Associates responsibilities include:
Warmly greeting and engaging all customers by providing a service-oriented experience
Adding value to our visitors experience through continuous product knowledge information and participation in weekly training
Maintaining a neat and organized store environment, including stocking shelves, setting up displays and keeping store clean and appealing
Processing all sales transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems and Online Store Orders systems
Creating Add- on sales including selling Museum memberships at the POS
Selling Picnic lunches through POS system
Ongoing knowledge of all Museum programs and Membership levels
Following Museum policies and procedures at all times
Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor as a representative of the Flagler Museum
A love of history and knowledge of the Gilded Age is preferred
Prior luxury retail experience preferred
Weekend availability is required (occasional evenings for special events)
Ability to stand and lift 30 pounds
