Job Description
Short term staff planning and scheduling responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule short term staff capacity based on latest supply and demand forecasts
- Optimize staff hours across all In- and Outbound functions of the DC
- Closely align with operational inbound and outbound departments
- Manage short term needs to DC associate teams (temps) incl. day-to-day communication with agencies
- Monitor temp agencies to deliver according to plan & ensure manpower
- Ensure correct time registration
- Act as key owner of labor mgmt. tool (separate or part of WMS suite)
- Proactively identify & address future capacity needs with DC Mgmt., Operational Heads, DC Controlling & Regional SalesOps (via DC Mgmt.)
Stock planning & controlling responsibilities:
- Ensure stock accuracy and addressing of stock discrepancies
- Ensure and monitor cycle counts, to be conducted by departments
- Ensure proper recognition of stock (sortable/non sortable) and storage type assignment
- Ensuring optimum allocation of stock across warehouse (SKU rank)
- Manage stock discrepancies
