HCS Renewable Energy has an upcoming opportunity and is currently accepting applications for a Safety Coordinator for a utility-scale solar farm near Denton, TX. $32 per hour  Local Labor or $100.00 Per Diem Offered RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develops and implements safety programs for different sites Inform employees about proper safety procedures
• Knowledgeable of state and federal safety regulations Identify, analyze, monitor, and control project risks, health and safety hazards
• Must recommend ways to improve health and safety
• Must document all health and safety issues Investigate, document, and report on-site accidents Must respond to on-site accidents and emergencies
• Must identify hazards that caused the accident and find a solution to the problems.
• Communicate with management and members of all teams involved in a project including shipping, logistics, accounting, and others.
• Travel to project sites to conduct safety audits

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3-5 years of safety experience in the solar field. CHST preferred but the experience is mandatoryKnowledgeable of OSHA and EPA guidelines 5+ years of experience of HSE
• Management within Utility-Scale Solar Projects Certificate of Safety Management Required
• Highly focused, organized, motivated individual
• Has problem-solving orientation
• Must exercise caution and alertness at all times
• Strong leadership skills required
• Valid Driver’s License Required Travel Required
• OSHA 510 Certification CPR and AED Good with Toolbox Talks Personal Vehicle
