Harry Daniel Insurance - Account Executive (CSR)
The Account Executive role is responsible for the strategic coordination and execution of top-tier commercial lines insurance accounts. Primarily responsible for managing a book of business, resolving complex client service needs, client marketing, account retention, and assisting with new business development. This role is a client facing and service role for top-tier customers, handling roughly 80% of the agency's book of revenue from a smaller number of clients, focused on more complex cases and clients.
1. Manages or directs client accounts/relationships to ensure retention and growth of book of business
2. Initiates business development through new account acquisition and/or current account enhancement
3. Manages or directs account renewal and/or specialized marketing, generally utilizing established markets but may be responsible for market development.
4. Research market trends, develop strategies, and negotiate favorable arrangements and relationships.
5. Manages or directs the development of submissions for marketing in accordance with agency standards.
6. Initiates renewal process and conducts renewals with the Account Manager, Producer, or another Account Executive. Participates in Renewal Strategy meetings.
7. Prepares proposals for new business or renewals, including binding, invoicing, and other documentation.
8. Prepares correspondence and insurance schedules.
9. Maintains current information on company automation systems.
10. Utilizes web-based and other systems to rate, research, and perform carrier inquiries
11. Performs receivables/collection activities as directed, including cancellations and reinstatements.
12. May direct workflow and mentor other team members.
13. May have client relations responsibility for accounts not serviced directly.
14. Performs other duties as assigned or directed.
