Responsibilities:
Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including noodle, fried rice, and vegetables on a flat top/teppanyaki grill.
Specialty Cooking: Expertly cook steak, salmon, scallops, and chicken, ensuring quality and consistency.
Steak 🥩 Temperature Knowledge: Cook steaks to the desired temperature (rare, medium, well-done, etc.), ensuring customer satisfaction.
Inventory Management: Monitor and manage kitchen inventory, ensuring ingredients are fresh and well-stocked.
Sanitation: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety standards.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
Customer Interaction: Engage with customers when packing to-go orders, ensuring a pleasant experience.
Skills:
Proven experience as a cook with a focus on Hibachi/Teppanyaki cooking.
Strong understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment.
Excellent time management and ability to multitask.
Attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Knowledge of steak cooking temperatures.
Willingness to be trained and learn new skills.
