    Job Description

     

    Yacht company looking for an Admin assistant to work out of it’s new office in the Fort Lauderdale area. You will be assigned between 4 and 8 yacht brokers and will help the with financial closings and with helping put new listings online for the brokers. You will also be expected to answer phones and light receptionist duties. Experience in the yachting field is not necessary but some experience with closings of large ticket items and registrations would be helpful. You will be responsible for managing the online placements of yachts for sale so understanding uploading of pictures and descriptions will be necessary. During social events you will be needed to help plan small events and keep clients entertained.

    Most of our programs are proprietary, so knowing our programs are not required but a good computer skill set is a must. You will be helping clients with their financial closing so past experience working with large numbers is a plus. Our office hours are Monday to Friday; however, our brokers sometimes will need help outside of normal business hours. During the boat show seasons there will be some weekend work required as you will need to attend the boat shows and help with closings at the shows.

    Experience with a higher end cliental will be a plus as we sell yachts that cater to the higher end clientele. Please send a resume for review.
