We are currently seeking a Consultant to join our team. As a Consultant, you are responsible for working independently on project tasks with periodic supervision to scope work and develop project approach and project work plans with clients and prospects to generate new business opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Completes projects for multiple service lines.
- Supports sales calls and assisting in closing of sales, including preparing leave behind and qualification packages.
- Works on project assignments with multiple location teams.
- Assists in preparation of proposals, including project approach, schedule and definition of deliverables
- Typically performs complex analysis tasks on projects and problem solving on projects (e.g. workplace observation surveys, functional relationship analysis, highest and best use studies, supply and demand, utilization analysis, cross over analysis, stacking & blocking, migration schedules, cost estimates and project schedules, site and zoning analysis, code analysis, organizational analysis, personnel forecast, space type analysis, density analysis, space inventory, efficiency ratios, capacity models, strategic master planning and facility benchmarks).
- Develops, prepares and makes project presentations to small client groups and client managers.
- Presents program, findings, or reports to HOK project teams in a clear and concise manner.

- Participates in Long Distance Learning (LDL) programs.
Required Skills
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
- Knowledge and ability to use analytical and problem-solving techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, BIM and Graphics.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, illustrator, and Photoshop).
- Strong analysis and strong spreadsheet capabilities are essential components, accuracy and precision are a must.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Ability to complete tasks and produce deliverables independently.
Required Experience
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in architecture, real estate, interior or planning.
- 3 to 10 years of previous experience, including experience in five or more building types and experience in two or more consulting service offerings.
- Direct experience working in a Change Management role as a facilitator.
- Certification in PROSCI or equivalent Change Management certification strongly preferred.
