    ZKTeco Workforce Management is growing and seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Accountant to oversee daily accounting functions, support the CEO, collaborate with the external CPA, and supervise two team members. The ideal candidate will be independent, proactive, and possess strong problem-solving abilities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Accounting Operations: Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank and credit card reconciliations.

    Payroll and Tax Compliance: Process payroll and ensure timely filings, including multi-jurisdictional sales tax and other regulatory requirements. Work with the external CPA to create accurate tax estimates and ensure estimated tax payments are scheduled and paid on time.

    Oversee Subscription Renewals: Collaborate with the dedicated renewal specialist to ensure customer renewals are executed accurately and on time. Oversee the process to confirm that all invoicing, contract terms, and revenue recognition align, and no services are provided without a valid renewal.

    Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Assist the CEO with financial analysis to support decision-making and company growth strategies.

    Audit & Compliance: Collaborate with the external CPA on tax filings, audits, and year-end financial reviews, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal laws.

    Process Improvement: Independently manage the accounting department, ensuring that processes are followed and identifying changes to improve efficiency for the company and customer requests.

    Team Supervision: Supervise and mentor two team member, ensuring adherence to best practices and company policies.

    Software Utilization: Use ZOHO Books for financial tracking, reporting, and overall management of accounting data.

    Requirements:

    Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.

    Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on accounting experience, ideally in a small business environment.

    Software Proficiency: Experience with ZOHO Books and MS Office (Excel, Word).

    Tax Knowledge: Strong understanding of multi-jurisdictional tax laws and compliance, with experience in payroll processing and sales tax filings.

    Organizational Skills: Excellent attention to detail, time management, and the ability to prioritize tasks independently.

    Independent Problem Solver: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating logical and creative thinking to solve complex problems.

    Team Management: Ability to supervise and mentor two team member.

    Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the CEO, CPA, and other stakeholders.
