    Position Overview: As an HR Administrator at Global Aviation Tech, you will play a crucial role in managing and supporting the day-to-day human resources functions, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, and helping maintain a positive and efficient work environment. Your responsibilities will also include serving as the Designated Employer Representative (DER) for the FAA Drug and Alcohol Program, along with assisting in other FAA compliance-related matters.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Serve as the Designated Employer Representative (DER) for the FAA Drug and Alcohol Program, ensuring compliance with all FAA regulations regarding drug and alcohol testing.
    • Assist with other FAA compliance requirements, ensuring all records and certifications are up-to-date and in line with federal regulations.
    • Support the HR team in various administrative functions such as employee onboarding, benefits administration, and maintaining employee records.
    • Assist with recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, reviewing applications, and conducting interviews.
    • Help in employee relations, addressing concerns and providing guidance on policies and procedures.
    • Maintain up-to-date employee records in HRIS (Human Resource Information System).
    • Assist with the implementation and enforcement of company policies and procedures.
    • Coordinate and assist with training programs related to HR and compliance topics.
    • Stay informed on HR best practices, changes in labor laws, and industry-specific regulations.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 5 years of HR administrative experience preferred.
    • Previous experience in the aviation industry, particularly in MRO, is a plus.
    • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent) is preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of HR policies and procedures, as well as relevant local, state, and federal regulations, including FAA drug and alcohol testing and other compliance requirements.
    • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HRIS software.
