    Job Summary:

    Paramount Pharmacy is urgently seeking a highly organized and proactive HR Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and will be primarily responsible for screening resumes and conducting initial interviews. This crucial role involves identifying top talent and passing qualified candidates to the Senior HR Manager for further processing.

    Key Responsibilities: Human Resource Assistant (Recruitment Specialist)

    • Resume Screening: Thoroughly review and screen resumes to identify qualified candidates based on job descriptions and requirements.

    • Initial Interviews: Conduct preliminary phone interviews to evaluate candidates' qualifications, experience, and interest in the position.

    • Candidate Tracking: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records ensuring all candidate information is properly documented and easily accessible.

    • Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and the Senior HR Manager, managing calendars and logistics efficiently.

    • Communication: Serve as the initial point of contact for candidates, providing timely updates on their application status and answering any questions they may have.

    • Job Postings: Assist in creating and posting job advertisements on Careerplug to attract top talent.

    • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including organizing files, preparing documents, and assisting with onboarding processes.

    • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or coursework in human resources or a related field.

    • Experience: Previous experience in the HR role is preferred.

    • Skills:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

    • Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with career plug is preferred.
