    Job Overview

    We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented HR Business Operations Coordinator to manage human resources functions and support multiple areas of our home improvement company. This role requires adaptability, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle various HR responsibilities while assisting with business operations.

    Position Details

    • Title: HR Business Operations Coordinator
    • Location: On Site, in Clearwater, FL

    Key Responsibilities

    Human Resources Management

    • Manage employee onboarding, offboarding, and orientation processes
    • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
    • Assist with benefits administration and open enrollment
    • Coordinate performance review processes and maintain documentation
    • Handle employee relations issues and conduct initial investigations when necessary
    • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
    • Assist with recruitment and selection processes

    Payroll and Financial Operations

    • Run biweekly payroll and ensure accurate and timely processing
    • Submit monthly workers' compensation payroll reports
    • Audit daily expenditures
    • Reconcile orders with receipts of goods
    • Process customer payments

    Employee Engagement and Development

    • Coordinate employee training and development initiatives
    • Organize company events and team-building activities
    • Manage internal communications related to HR matters
    • Create and implement employee recognition programs

    Operational Support

    • Learn and maintain methods for process documentation and updates
    • Assist with operations, permits, and inside sales (appointments) as needed
    • Generate and analyze daily schedule and attendance reports
    • Monitor and dispatch appointments throughout the day
    • Oversee ongoing installations

    Social Media Management

    • Create and publish daily posts on Facebook and Instagram
    • Monitor social media accounts and engage with customers
    • Secure and manage customer reviews

    Cross-Training

    • Maintain proficiency in various roles to provide coverage during absences or staff changes
    • Learn and assist as needed in operations, permits, and inside sales (appointments)

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
    • 2+ years of experience in HR or a similar role
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
    • Proficiency in HRIS, payroll systems, and financial software
    • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations
    • Experience with social media management and customer engagement
    • Ability to learn new software systems quickly
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Adaptability and willingness to take on diverse responsibilities
    • Attention to detail
    • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred

    Note

    This position requires flexibility and the ability to handle both HR responsibilities and various operational tasks. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner who enjoys a dynamic work environment and is comfortable with a wide range of responsibilities.

    Compensation and Benefits

    • Salary: $20/hr - $30/hr depending on qualifications and experience
    • Benefits: Health and Dental Insurance available after 90 days
