We are looking for a Part-Time HR Compliance Specialist who will ensure that our organization's HR practices and policies comply with legal requirements and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
Monitor legislative changes and pending industry changes, trends and best practices.
Develop reports to comply with various U.S. EEO requirements as well as other state and local requirements
Stay updated with statutory changes and have a system in place to alert when there are updates or new regulations.
Provide compliance advice and verify any deficiencies or gaps are updated
Conduct periodic internal reviews or audits to ensure that compliance procedures are follow
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Regulatory Affairs or HR – SHRM Certification is a plus.
Expert knowledge of legislation and regulations
Knowledge of employment law in the following states – Arizona, Nevada, California, Texas
At least 5 years’ experience in the regulatory or compliance field. Restaurant experience is a plus
