    Job Description

    OVERVIEW
    The HR Coordinator assists the Sr. Director of HR Business Partnerships, HRBPs and other HR sub-teams with employee relations, systems, compliance, and administrative requests and needs.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES
    The essential duties and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

    Employee Relations:

    • Responds to all Jira tickets that are submitted through the HR Handbook/Employee relations que; Keeps HRBP informed of questions.
    • Assists HRBPs with HR investigations. (Schedules interviews with employees and managers; acts as a witness during interviews; takes thorough notes of all interviews.)
    • Responds to all Convercent issues; Works with HRBP to close-out claims.
    • Assists HRBPs with exit interviews. (e.g. Schedules exit interviews, completes exit interviews in Culture Amp).
    • Updates the attrition google docs and sends weekly attrition email to Executives.
    • Responds to ex-employee inquiries sent to the HR email.
    • Sends separation email with attachments to terminated employees.

    Systems:

    • Assists HRBPs with SVG systems audits, reporting and transaction approvals.
    • Runs “Unaccounted for Days” and “Ramp Status” reports in Workday
    • Reviews Culture Amp dashboards and results
    • Updates Workday job aids.
    • Assists with Internal movement approvals.
    • Edits, stores and organizes documents for Managers on the TreeHouse.

    Compliance:

    • Responds to all unemployment inquiries and claims in CaseBuilder; Attends unemployment hearings.
    • Responds to current employee requests for employment and pay verifications (anything that falls outside of the Work Number).
    • Orders state labor law posters for all locations; Updates TreeHouse e-postings.
    • Stays abreast of state and local laws that impact SVG locations;
    • Updates Monday Board
    • Stays abreast of weather and natural disasters that impact SVG employees
    • Emergency Preparedness
    • Makes updates to SVG Employee Handbook, SVG Agreement and HR policies as needed.
    • Assists HRBP with creating and updating job descriptions. (Ensures all job descriptions are on file; Compiles initial draft of job descriptions, etc.)
    • Sends reminders to managers and employees to follow-up on HR initiatives and programs (e.g. Connect Program, Handbook, Harassment/Code of Conduct Trainings, Engagement Surveys, etc.)
    • Audits employee files (Workday, Smart Recruiter, Shared Drive) for completed agreements/documents.

    Other/Miscellaneous:

    • Follows up on any voicemails from SVG front desk.
    • Maintains employee files; Organizes files as needed.
    • Regularly checks and responds to HR mail.
    • Updates internal HRBP process docs.
    • Performs other administrative tasks as needed.
    • Supports other HR sub-teams as needed (Backs-up Front desk; helps with hiring/onboarding of sales agents, etc.)
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related.
    • 1 years of experience as an HR Coordinator preferred.
    • Experience with HR Information Systems and data reporting.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Knowledge of labor and employment laws and practices.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
