    Job Description

    Pay ranges from $75,000-$93,000 annually depending on experience.

    This position requires the ability to work in our Sacramento Corporate Office, hybrid schedule, minimum 2 days in the office each week.

    We are looking for a HR Generalist to enhance our dynamic team and provide boutique level service to managers and team members throughout our multi-state organization. As an HR Generalist, your primary areas of focus will be supporting benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, policy implementation and employment law compliance. We are looking for innovative and collaborative individuals interested in using their hands-on practical experience to enhance the current policies and practices. Although this position does not directly supervise individuals, leadership skills and the ability to influence others will be highly coveted!

    What you would be doing:

    • Partners with all levels of management to align business objectives with employees and management in designated business units.
    • Creates and evaluates reports to apply statistics modeling and analysis of employee related factors to improve business outcomes.
    • Collaborate with the HR Team to support Summit Team Members by responding to questions or situations that arise which pertain to Compensation, Employee Relations, Leaves of Absences, Health and Safety, Benefits, and other HR matters.
    • Investigate and escalate complex issues in order to ensure consistency, fairness and legal compliance.
    • Provide ongoing support and consultation regarding changes to healthcare, new benefit options, industry trends, claims, policy changes and billing.
    • Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed.
    • Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
    • Special projects as assigned.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Three to five years of current or recent (within the last 12 months) of HR Generalist or HR Business Partner experience
    • PHR-CA or SHRM-CP certification highly preferred
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software (Excel, pivot tables etc.).
    • Must be familiar with Human Resource Information Systems (ATS, HRIS, etc.).
    • Must be able to work Monday through Friday standard business hours and report to the Sacramento Corporate office a minimum of two days a week
