Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Human Resources Generalist to help start, develop, and execute our HR department with a strong focus on our people, culture, retention, and development. This is a unique opportunity to shape the HR function from the ground up and play a crucial role in building a high-performing and engaged workforce. _
Key Responsibilities:_
• Department Development
o Assist with HR initiatives, strategic goals, and objectives.
o Help develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
o Create and support a positive and inclusive company culture.
• Talent Acquisition
o Build strong relationships with educational institutions, professional organizations, and other talent sources to support our Apprenticeship Program.
o Work with the Corporate Recruitment Manager to help fill roles throughout the family of companies.
• Talent Development
o Help implement comprehensive training and development programs.
o Assist in developing and support an employee evaluation process to enhance employee growth and productivity.
o Support our career development plans and succession planning strategies.
• Employee Relations
o Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and inquiries.
o Foster a positive work environment and address any workplace issues promptly.
o Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
• HR Operations
o Assist with the corporate payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS management.
o Monitor HR metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
o Become a trusted leader on the corporate HR team. _
Qualifications:_
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 4 years of experience in a human resources role, with a focus on human relations.
- Experience with talent acquisition, processing, and development.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and legal requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Full-time, on-site, Monday - Friday
40 hours a week
