Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and resourceful HR Generalist to help ensure smooth and efficient business operations. In this role, you will handle both administrative and strategic tasks, including staffing, training, payroll, and benefits management. You'll also be responsible for crafting, updating, and enforcing HR policies in line with legal standards.
Objectives of this role:
Develop and implement personnel procedures and policies, offering guidance and interpretation for business operations.
Contribute to the development of HR objectives and systems, including creating metrics, reports, and queries.
Manage benefits, compensation, payroll, and employee performance programs.
Propose new policies and procedures to enhance the employee experience and improve the efficiency of the HR department.
Ensure compliance with local and national employment laws and regulations, updating policies as necessary.
Responsibilities:
Organize paperwork and schedules for a seamless onboarding process, coordinating with various departments to ensure a positive first-day experience.
Oversee all administrative tasks related to onboarding, orientations, and exit interviews, including data entry in ADP and compliance audits.
Provide effective HR advisory services on issues such as employee health, conduct, grievances, and organizational changes.
Assist in maintaining and updating the employee handbook, directory, and organizational chart, contributing to policy development.
Create recruitment plans and calendars aligned with operational and sales forecasts.
Generate official documents, such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary slips, and warning letters.
Maintain physical and digital records of employees, including documents related to payroll, benefits, and attendance.
Design and implement employee engagement plans, securing necessary budget approvals.
Collaborate with external vendors, upper management, and employees to uphold standards mandated by authorities.
Evaluate employee performance and adjust pay scales accordingly.
Address employee grievances and enforce disciplinary actions when necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in HR or a related field.
2+ years of experience in a generalist role.
Strong problem-solving abilities and comprehensive knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
Advanced proficiency with HRIS and the ability to learn new systems as needed.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with strong ethics and cultural awareness.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in an HR department.

In-depth knowledge of national employment laws and regulations.
