Job Description:
As the On-Site HR Generalist at Paul Davis Restoration, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's HR functions while ensuring a positive employee experience. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of HR-related duties, from onboarding to compliance management, benefits administration, and employee relations. Key Responsibilities:
Onboarding and Offboarding:
Manage the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a seamless transition into the company with all necessary paperwork, training, and introductions.
Conduct exit interviews to gather feedback, ensure compliance with offboarding procedures, and identify areas for improvement.
Employee Benefits Administration:
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries, providing information and resolving issues as needed.
Administer and manage on-site employee benefits programs, ensuring employees understand and effectively utilize their benefits.
Payroll and Commissions Management:
Assist with payroll processing, ensuring the accurate calculation and timely payment of wages and commissions.
Verify employee hours, address payroll discrepancies, and resolve issues to maintain accurate compensation records.
HR Budget Oversight:
Assist in the development and management of the HR budget, ensuring that expenses related to HR functions are controlled and aligned with organizational goals.
Monitor HR expenditures and provide regular updates to leadership on budget status.
Compliance and Policy Enforcement:
Ensure that the company complies with all federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
Enforce company HR policies and procedures, addressing violations and recommending corrective actions when necessary.
Employee Relations and Support:
Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR-related concerns, ensuring their issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
Foster a positive work environment by promoting employee engagement, resolving conflicts, and enhancing overall workplace morale.
HR Data and Reporting:
Maintain accurate, up-to-date employee records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Prepare and present HR-related reports to leadership, including employee data, turnover trends, and other key metrics.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and improve operational efficiency.
Implement best practices to enhance HR operations, ensuring high levels of employee satisfaction and engagement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an HR role, preferably in a generalist capacity.
Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and employee benefits administration.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
