    We are excited to partner with a growing company to find a dedicated Human Resources Generalist to join their team. This position is crucial to the company’s continued success, and the HR Generalist will be responsible for managing a range of HR functions, including payroll, benefits, employee relations, compliance, and more.

    *This is a direct-hire and an onsite role in Cerritos, CA

    Core Duties:

    • Oversee the hiring process, working closely with managers to determine staffing needs, conduct interviews, select candidates, and facilitate seamless onboarding.

    • Administer bi-weekly payroll, including the analysis and input of payroll data (garnishments, vacation, sick time, insurance, 401(k) deductions). Ensure employees are informed about their benefits and required notices.

    • Address employee relations issues, participate in investigations, disciplinary sessions, and terminations, and collaborate with the Senior HR Manager when necessary.

    • Assist in the creation and execution of HR policies and procedures. Stay current with employment laws to ensure compliance and manage audits and reports, including OSHA, EEO-1, and worker’s compensation filings.

    • Manage performance, implement improvement plans, and conduct exit and stay interviews to track trends and develop proactive retention strategies.

    • Maintain up-to-date personnel records in HRIS and other relevant databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

    What we’re looking for:

    • 4+ years of hands-on HR experience.

    • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field, or HR Certification preferred.

    • Strong knowledge of California HR laws.

    • Experience with payroll/HRIS systems; ADP experience preferred.

    • Bilingual (Spanish and English) is highly preferred.

    • Proven ability to align organizational strategy with actionable HR processes.

    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to connect with a diverse workforce.

    • Motivated, growth-oriented, and emotionally intelligent with a strong desire to learn.

    $75,000-$95,000 per year
