    Position Title: HR IT Director

    About the Role:

    § Work closely with the IT VP and business units to design technology solutions and ensure the effective delivery of IT services and products. Collaborate with business leaders and IT management to develop a strategic technology roadmap and investment plan that aligns with business objectives while adhering to enterprise-wide standards and architectures. Serve on committees that shape product strategies. Lead a team of IT professionals responsible for acting as the primary contact between IT and business units, understanding business processes, identifying technology needs, and translating those into effective solutions.

    § Work closely with business stakeholders to justify and prioritize small to medium-sized projects (up to $3 million).

    § Lead the maintenance and enhancement of applications and systems that support this business segment.

    § Oversee the execution of small-to-large IT projects, consistently achieving on-time and on-budget delivery within top quartile performance.

    § Contribute to the overall leadership of the IT organization.

    § Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key IT vendors and manage contracts that support this specific business segment.

    Key Responsibilities: § Maintain relationships with business stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding of business processes and requirements. Participate in committees and forums that influence technology strategy and investment decisions for the product portfolio.

    § Oversee the maintenance, support, and minor enhancements of applications and systems for a product portfolio, ensuring world-class performance and service.

    § Partner with business units to justify and prioritize investments in small projects, managing their execution while ensuring exceptional delivery standards.

    § Drive process improvements and champion the adoption of standard management models, delivering sustainable top quartile cost and performance levels.

    § Evaluate team performance and provide coaching for IT personnel. Foster diversity, teamwork, and a learning culture within the organization. Contribute to employee development and retention strategies.

    § Manage an annual budget of over $15 million.

    Qualifications: § Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering).

    § Typically 12+ years of experience in leading and managing multiple solutions teams at the manager level or higher.

    § Extensive knowledge of business processes, with hands-on experience in business applications and/or product portfolios.

    § Proven skills in strategic planning, customer engagement, and leading teams through change.

    § Strong consultative skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation. Advanced interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and persuasively.

    Preferred Skills: § Experience managing 24/7 IT service delivery for corporate functions.

    § Proven expertise in implementing enterprise Human Capital Management (HCM) tools, particularly large-scale, complex implementations.

    § Strong proficiency in Oracle HCM and Payroll solutions, with experience leading teams through implementation, configuration, and ongoing management.

    § Experience managing remote and offshore teams across various time zones and cultures.

    § Deep understanding of HR processes, including talent management, compensation, benefits, and payroll.

    § Expertise in system integrations, data migration, and troubleshooting complex technical issues.

    § Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering HRIT projects on time and within budget.

    § Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to drive system improvements and upgrades.

    § Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

    § Experience in vendor management, including managing third-party relationships and ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).

    § A strategic mindset that aligns HRIT initiatives with broader organizational objectives.

    § Familiarity with agile methodologies, with the ability to manage both iterative and waterfall project processes.

    § Bachelor’s degree in HR, IT, Business, or a related field; advanced certifications or training in HRIT or Oracle HCM solutions are a plus.

    § Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
