  • Responsibilities

    The Human Resources/Implementation Representative works with client requests regarding onboarding, employee relations issues, consultation on discipline, terminations, hiring, employee relations, leave of absences and any questions related to employee relations.

    Essential Job Functions

    Human Resources

    • Develops working relationship with client ownership, management, and employees.
    • Create job descriptions for clients.
    • Assist Human Resources Generalist/Manager in creating policies and procedures including employee handbook specific to business practices and legalities.
    • Assist Human Resources Generalist/Manager in investigating employee issues and recommends procedures and solutions.
    • Maintains personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations.
    • Prepares employee separation related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations for clients
    • Assists with general client calls regarding Workers’ Compensation, employee benefits, general payroll questions (overtime, commissions etc.).
    • Responsible for sending leave of absence paperwork to client employees and tracking leave of absence
    • Conducts and process employee background checks for clients as requested.
    • Assists the Client Service/Human Resources Department with the overall administrative tasks of the departments
    • Assists with various projects including, but not limited to wage and hour posters, personnel file audits, etc.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Implementation

    • Assist in the facilitation of onboarding new clients and new sites for current clients.
    • Assist and help identify and define requirements, scope, and objectives for new clients.
    • Ensure communication of compliance of human resources and payroll practices to client.
    • Answering client and employee questions on client onboarding process
    • Assist in the determining resources and time needed to perform employee onboarding meetings.
    • Assist in setting deadlines and follow up with key team members to ensure task completion.
    • Inform team members of onboarding meetings and status of client onboarding.
    • Assist and coordinate project plan for client and employee onboarding.
    • Assist in maintenance of process checklist thru to completion.
    • Escalate issue within the team and collaborate with other department team members.
    • Travel to client locations for onboarding or as needed.
    • Ensure smooth transition of client to service team.
    • Prepare appropriate new hire documents to send to clients (i.e., Wage Posters, etc.)

    Education/Certifications

    Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent work experience.

    Previous Work Experience

    One to three years of human resource generalist or equivalent work experience.

    Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
    • Proven ability to utilize and develop computerized spreadsheets and word processing applications.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Excellent customer services skills.
    • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
    • Ability to work, develop, and maintain cooperative working relationships in a team-oriented environment.
    • Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality
    • Ability to anticipate and solve problems.
    • Ability to manage and negotiate change.
    • Able to negotiate skillfully with internal and external clients.
    • Bilingual, preferred.
