    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to join our team. In this role, you will learn about and handle various HR functions, including hiring & recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and payroll processing. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to properly handle confidential information, and a passion for fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Hiring, Recruiting, Onboarding:

    Manage various aspects of the recruitment process, including posting and editing job openings.

    Oversee the Onboarding process for new hires, including building an employee in Continuum, completing their I-9, verifying all paperwork is complete and communicating new hire progress to the stores

    Employee Relations:

    Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and conflicts.

    Assist in resolving employee relations issues in a fair and consistent manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws.

    Support the implementation of employee engagement programs and initiatives.

    Payroll Processing:

    Review timecards within Brinks to review pay rates, hours, and catch miscalculations before report downloads.

    Download payroll reports for all locations and edit for proper Continuum upload

    Upload reports to Continuum and add any store level additions, send reports to stores and DM’s for approval before final submission

    Compliance & Policy Management:

    Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.

    Ensure company policies and practices comply with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.

    Ensure stores are complying with company policies and practices, correct and coach as needed

    Training & Development:

    Support the development and delivery of training programs on topics such as compliance, leadership, and employee development.

    Assist in identifying training needs and coordinating learning opportunities for employees.
