    An established and fast-paced CPG/FMCG manufacturing facility is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager with a background in unionized Food & Beverage or consumer packaged goods (CPG) production environments. This is a strategic and hands-on role for an HR leader who can stabilize operations, develop talent, and drive culture and engagement in a plant undergoing transformation.

    About the Role

    As the Plant HR Manager, you’ll serve as the lead HR business partner for a major production site known for producing iconic Food & Beverage CPG brands. You will report to a regional HR Director who provides strong onboarding support and values autonomy once you're ramped up. The role requires a proactive, collaborative HR leader who understands the fast-paced, high-output nature of CPG manufacturing.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead an HR team of 5 (2 salaried + 3 hourly) professionals
    • Support plant transformation efforts with strong HR presence, consistency, and team guidance
    • Build and maintain trust with two unions — prior union plant experience is required
    • Champion a culture of communication, accountability, and performance
    • Represent HR in plant leadership meetings and contribute to operational planning through HR metrics
    • Reinforce continuous improvement and LEAN practices that support production and workforce alignment

    What You Bring

    • 5+ years of HR leadership in a unionized CPG, FMCG, or Food & Beverage manufacturing plant
    • Strong ability to develop and lead HR teams during periods of organizational change
    • Experience building trust with unions, plant leadership, and hourly teams
    • A results-oriented mindset with solid experience in HR metrics, talent development, and workforce engagement
    • Exposure to LEAN/CI environments strongly preferred
    • Able to represent HR confidently during plant visits from corporate or senior leadership
