    Position Overview:

    Seeking a versatile HR & Operations Manager to support a dynamic small firm. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and experienced in HR processes, benefits administration, recruiting, and general operations. This role requires multitasking across various functions with a strong focus on growth and development.

    Key Responsibilities:

    HR & Compliance:

    • Develop and maintain HR policies; ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., FMLA, DC Family Leave).
    • Oversee HRIS, timesheets, offboarding, and performance reviews.

    Recruiting & Onboarding:

    • Manage recruitment, job descriptions, and interview coordination.
    • Oversee onboarding and orientation processes.

    Benefits & Payroll:

    • Administer group benefits and annual open enrollment.
    • Manage payroll data and reporting.

    Operations & Technology:

    • Oversee IT systems, equipment, vendor management, and facilities.
    • Support office infrastructure and staff tech needs.

    Leadership:

    • Supervise legal assistants and support their professional growth.
    • Assist with salary and performance management processes.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field; SHRM preferred.
    • 5+ years of HR/operations experience (2+ in management).

    Schedule & Work Policy:

    • Hybrid: 4 days in-office, 1 day remote.
  • Compensation
    $80,000-$120,000 per year
