Job Summary: Human Resource Managers will oversee the human resources department and ensure the functions and tasks being carried out by the HR Department. You are the link between an organization’s management and its employees, as their work runs the gamut from providing consultation on strategic planning with top executives to recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new staff. The HR Manager is responsible for attracting, motivating, and retaining the most qualified talent by directing the administrative functions of the HR department. Due to the supervisory nature of this position, Human Resource managers are responsible for handling employee-related services, regulatory compliance, and employee relations, among many other tasks.
Essential Functions:
Work with CEO and COO Manage/Coordinate office Team Building and other events. Provide inspired leadership for the organization. Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.
Ensure that Upper Management is training Support Staff.
Quarterly Performance Reviews
Maintain office equipment and manage outsourced IT providers.
Ensure all office positions and employee performances meet company standards.
Provide direction to employees regarding administrative duties and goals
Supervising employees
Develop professional relationships with staff and provide strong team building.
Verifies I-9 documentation and maintains current employee records.
Assists with new employee background checks. Process Payroll
Uploading Workers Comp figures
Schedules meetings and interviews
Maintain employee files. Prepare onboarding files. Vacation and PTO tracking
Process EDD claims
Assist with company audits.
Update HRIS system and run reports.
Liaison between employees and insurance providers
Resolving benefits-related issues Ensure the effective utilization of plans related to HR programs and services.
Administer health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
Address all employee requests and questions.
Administrate new employee hiring processes. Administrate performance review and termination processes. Administrate recruitment and interview processes. Maintain Employee Handbook Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting compliance.
Work with executive staff on appropriate resolution of employee relation issues Works with management and employees on grievances and complaints. Takes appropriate steps to see that they are resolved or channeled to higher management, if necessary

Essential Functions Physical Requirements to do this Job: Physical demands (lifting to 25lbs, height 3ft, distance 100ft) loading onto shelves. Stationed position, must be able to sit for a prolonged period (75% of the time) Walking (25 %) Kneeling, squatting, bending, when needed
Skills: Extreme attention to detail and deadline-oriented Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task efficiently. Solid follow-up aptitude Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Outlook, & Excel Ability to type 45+wpm Excellent verbal and written communication skills Maintaining files, typing, grammar, proof-reading, composing letters Ability to prioritize tasks and manage independently a heavy workload and urgent matters that arise The candidate should be intelligent, creative, detail-oriented, a problem solver, extremely well organized, pleasant but appropriately assertive when necessary, and work well in a team Great Phone Communication Skills
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree 5+ years’ experience in Human Resource Management and/or equivalent to Degree 7+ years + High School Diploma equivalent to Degree
