The HRIS Integration Specialist focus is to administer, develop, support the maintenance and compliance of the HRIS system. This position serves as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional areas and assists with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, development and builds for Time and Benefit module, and training of systems to internal and external customers. This position also supports the compliance of PTO tracking, electronic onboarding, time, payroll processing and benefits build for new clients, and other HR, Implementation & Integration processes as assigned.
Essential Job Functions
HRIS
- Provide support for HR including, but not limited to, researching and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results or process flaws; perform scheduled activities; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
- Write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries (including PTO, wage and hour, leave of absences, electronic onboarding, etc.) utilizing appropriate reporting tools.
- Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing internal and external customer needs. Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
- Responsible for completion of various required reports including EEO-1 set up and compete annual reporting to the Department of Labor.
- Assists in developing written user procedures, guidelines and documentation. Train clients and HR staff on new processes/functionality. Train new system users.
- Develops and creates various HR form types (e.g. fillable, etc.) to be used by HR staff and external clients.
- Train internal and external customers on systems including but not limited to: ATS, Reporting, Electronic Onboarding, iConnect, etc.
- Performs set up and audit of PTO tables and PTO adjustments.
- Ensures electronic onboarding system is up to date and clients are on the correct workflow. Also, updates client’s forms.
- Responsible for the maintenance and monitoring of employee workflows in iConnect.
- Other duties as assigned.
Integration
- Provide support for Implementation and Integration including, but not limited to, performing set up of client/company shell, PTO and benefit builds, and payroll processing.
- Analyze requirements and configurations in preparation for build of client shell, PTO, and benefits module.
- Create, modify, and audit benefits policies, eligibility, messages, policy groups, online enrollment, etc. for new clients in Implementation/Integration.
- Coordinate and ensure audit efficacy of processes for system builds in Integration for new clients.
- Coordinate and process system access security requests for supervisors, managers, and client users.
- Collaborate and work with client and internal departments: Payroll, QA, HR, Benefits, Time, and IT.
- Troubleshoot discrepancies and recommend alternative solutions for efficiency.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education/Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent work experience.
Previous Work Experience
Three to five years of systems experience or HR/Payroll or specialist experience. One to two years of project management experience Systems implementation experience.
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong understanding of HR processes and data, including eligibility and enrollment rules, and benefit procedures in order to ensure correct implementation. Strong understanding of HRMS database design, structure, functions and processes, and experience with databases tools. Thorough knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Experience with an HRIS systems. Effective organizational and interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills. Able to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently. Previous exposure to project-related activities through active participation in system-related projects.
