    Job Description

    Pay Range: $76,550 to $95,700 per year.

    ** Duties/Responsibilities:**

    • Engage in design, build, and support of complex application integrations and reporting; participate in integration and report development, testing, and troubleshooting with various vendors and internal teams.
    • Manage HCM modules from a technical perspective including Payroll, Benefits, HR, Time Keeping, Absence, Recruiting, Onboarding, and Compensation
    • Partner with HRIS Technical Manager, Information Technology, and vendors to maintain HR systems infrastructure.
    • Own Extract Transform Load (ETL) activities both inbound and outbound using tools similar to Azure Data Factory, Boomi, SSIS, Informatica, AWS Glue, or Talend
    • Build and maintain web services using SOAP and REST including XML, HTML and JSON formats via tools like SoapUI and Postman
    • Schedule data movement using SQL Server databases and SSIS jobs
    • Create and maintain application agnostic data repository potentially using concepts such as an Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), microservices, APIs, or an event bus for enterprise application integration (EAI)
    • Have strength and experience with a variety of database technologies including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle SQL Developer, Microsoft Access, and object model-based applications
    • Architect and administer data warehouse/data lake using Microsoft suite of tools
    • Interact with variety of cloud computing technologies including RaaS, SaaS, DBaaS, PaaS, IaaS and be able to recommend appropriate service model based on strengths and weaknesses of each
    • Provide functional and technical support for various platforms in the HRIS landscape, to include configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and end-user support.
    • Use web service and integration technologies including OAuth, XML, WSDL, XSD, FTP, SFTP, and XSLT
    • Conducts or participates in requirements gathering, design, and architecture.
    • Conduct training on HR systems and related processes.
    • Supports the development and adherence to HRIS Change Management Processes and Policies.
    • Maintains data integrity across platforms by querying and analyzing data.
    • Develop and comply with required integration, coding, data, and reporting standards.
    • Partners with HRIS leadership to support data management, data warehousing, and complex reporting.
    • Foster and maintain positive relationships with internal business partners, HRIS customer base, and external vendors.
    • Ensure successful completion of Root Cause Analysis for all critical and high impact incidents; enable resolution and related communication as appropriate. Complete pro/con list on options and offer recommendation
    • Support Application Security across multiple HRIS platforms; adhere to security policies.
    • Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
    • Reduce Technical Debt by automating and upgrading manual and older processes, respectively, to reduce human error and free resources for higher value activities.

    Qualifications

    ** Education and Experience:**

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human Resources Management, or related field.
    • 3+ years of progressively increasing experience supporting HRIS and related integrations.
    • Highly developed verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with demonstrated ability to translate technical information to a non-technical audience at all levels of the organization.
    • Experience in production support environment following established processes and guidelines.
    • Experience in all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, unit test, system test, deployment, and production support.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent collaboration with technical and functional business partners to develop and scale creative solutions to complex circumstances.
    • Ability to work independently, managing multiple projects. Ability to multitask on multiple projects in various phases.
    • Ability to lead others, direct and indirect.
    • SHRM certification a plus.

    ** Required Skills/Abilities:**

    • Demonstrated knowledge of data and analytics tools, to include Oracle SQL Developer, SSMS, Crystal Reports, Business Objects, PowerBI, etc.; ability to develop and maintain complex T-SQL and PL/SQL queries.
    • Experience with large-scale data integration, especially using Microsoft products.
    • Understanding of data requirements in complex environments.
    • Used Integrations Tools including Visual Studio, SSIS, Logic Apps, Azure, Workday Studio, SoapUI, Postman, and other similar tools for activities including Web Services, APIs, REST/SOAP, FTP, and other similar data movements.
    • Working history with a variety of HR Applications – including Infor Lawson, SmartRecruiters, Clickboarding, Kronos, Ultipro, AbsenceSoft, Convergence, Workday, UKG, and PeopleSoft among others
    • Experience with various technologies, frameworks and processes, such as data modeling, data flow mapping, requirements gathering, testing and data validation techniques.
    • Strong understanding of HR practices, federal and state regulations; demonstrated ability to develop and implement compliant solutions.
    • Uses effective approaches for choosing a course of action or develops appropriate solutions to issues that arise.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate and work within cross- functional teams.
    • Excellent customer service skills, ability to interact with all levels of internal and external personnel, and have the ability to exercise discretion with highly confidential information.
    • Excellent organizational skills, self-starter, ability to set priorities with minimal supervision.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
    • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
    • Experience maintaining strict confidentiality of data and information.
