    Job Description

    The primary role of the HSE Manager is to enforce Rotork Health & Safety policies and procedures within the facility to ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety and environmental laws and regulations, while acting as a point person for all local facility maintenance needs.

    Health, Safety and Environmental:

    • Maintain communications with the Rotork’s Group Health Safety & Environment Officer and report on safety violations and bad practices.
    • Keep abreast of industry and regulatory changes.
    • Perform incident/ injury investigations and coinciding health and safety root cause analysis.
    • Maintain and update safety charts and reports as necessary.
    • Provide safety training seminars as required.
    • Lead the facility Health and Safety committee.
    • Maintain safety records: training, agreements, facilities safety requirements.
    • Facilitate safety shoe and eye glass program.
    • Ensure that all Rotork facilities abide by federal, state and local hazardous and non-hazardous waste programs to ensure compliance with regulations.
    • Continually strive for ways in which Rotork can lessen our impact on the environment.
    • Maintaining MSDS, COSSH and risk analysis databases. May be required to perform risk analysis and develop reports
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Knowledge & Expertise:

    • Two or four year degree in safety or related field preferred.
    • Two plus years of previous HSE and facilities management experience.
    • Hands on experience of manufacturing processes.
    • Solid computer skills with an emphasis on Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • Must have advanced analytical, problem solving, decision making, and communication skills and possess ability to work at a higher level of detail while ensuring proper controls are in place.
    • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
    • Self-motivated and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to coordinate with other departments and managers and work as a team.
    • A desire to set high standards of work performance for yourself and others.
    • Extreme attention to detail, superior organizational skills.
    • Able to multitask and work unsupervised for extended periods of time.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Salary: $100,000 - $125,000
