    What You’ll Do:

    • Conduct HSE Assessments : Regularly assess facilities to identify hazards and ensure regulatory compliance.
    • Coordinate Key Programs : Manage medical monitoring, fertilizer registration, and Safety Data Sheet programs.
    • Drive HSE Initiatives : Support company-wide initiatives, develop safety procedures, and provide training to employees across the company.
    • Engage with Regulatory Standards : Analyze standards from OSHA, DOT and the EPA to ensure operational compliance and identify impacts on the business.
    • Support Environmental Permitting and Waste Management : Participate in environmental reporting, hazardous waste management and air permitting.
    • Lead New Hire Orientation : Provide essential safety orientation for new team members.

    What We're Looking For:

    • Education and Experience : A Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering or an HSE-related discipline, with experience in health, safety and the environment.
    • Knowledge of Regulations : A familiarity with OSHA, EPA, DOT and NFPA regulations and state standards.
    • Interpersonal Skills : A strong communicator who can work effectively across all levels and present confidently to large groups.
    • Self-Motivated & Team-Oriented: Proactive in finding improvements, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
    • Willingness to Travel : Up to 20% travel to support various sites.

    What Success Looks Like:

    In your first six months in this role, you will complete mandatory training, visit at least three plants, master the fertilizer registration process, and build a strong understanding of sulfur chemistry and the environmental permitting process. By the end of your first year, you will contribute to plant assessments, support environmental permit compliance, and assist with OSHA programs, making a meaningful impact on our HSE goals.

    • Motivated & Adaptable: Self-starter, open to feedback, and adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment.
    • Onsite Presence : This role is based at our Phoenix corporate office, with an option of one remote day per week once you become familiar with your position.

    Nice-to-Have:

    • Environmental Permitting Experience : Prior exposure to air, water or waste permits.
