Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient HVAC Estimator to join our team in Levittown, PA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for HVAC installations, retrofits, and repair projects. This role involves interpreting blueprints and specifications, working closely with technicians and clients, and ensuring all projects are estimated within budget and according to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Estimate Project Costs: Analyze construction documents, blueprints, specifications, and other relevant data to determine material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.

Prepare Bids and Proposals: Develop comprehensive and competitive estimates for prospective projects and assist in submitting formal bids and proposals to clients.

Client and Team Communication: Serve as a key point of contact to provide clear and timely information regarding project costs, scope, and timelines to both clients and internal teams.

Industry Awareness: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HVAC technologies, materials, building codes, and estimating practices.

Required Skills and Experience:

Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning principles.

Proficiency with estimating and takeoff software (experience with Trimble AutoBid Mechanical, AutoCAD MEP, or similar tools is a plus).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate project requirements and develop precise estimates.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to explain technical information to clients and collaborate with project stakeholders.

High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of estimating and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in the HVAC or construction industry.

Familiarity with project management and cost control methodologies.

Ability to read and interpret technical documents and construction drawings.
