Job Title: HVAC General Manager / License Holder

Location: Nashville, TN - Franklin, TN Compensation: $90,000 - $120,000/year + bonuses and potential profit-sharing Benefits: Full benefits package, including PTO, paid holidays and 401K matching

About the Role

Join a dynamic start-up HVAC business in Nashville, TN, as the HVAC General Manager/License Holder. This is a unique opportunity for a skilled professional to play a key role in building a business from the ground up. In the early stages, you may need to work in the field to ensure operations run smoothly. As the business grows, you'll transition into a full-time management role, leading the company to success.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Management: Oversee daily operations, including fieldwork, project scheduling, and staff management.

Strategic Growth: Develop and execute business strategies to achieve company goals and profitability.

License Holder Responsibilities: Ensure all work complies with Tennessee state regulations and HVAC licensing requirements.

Team Building: Recruit, train, and mentor a team of HVAC technicians and support staff.

Customer Service: Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.

Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, track expenses, and monitor key performance metrics.

Field Work: Assist with HVAC installations, maintenance, and repairs during the start-up phase as needed.

Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure adherence to local codes and standards.

Qualifications

Active HVAC Contractor License in the state of Tennessee (required).

Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC management or a senior leadership role.

Strong technical background in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.

Proven ability to build and manage a high-performing team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to adapt to a start-up environment.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
